The Regis University Library is dedicated to providing library resources and services to Regis students and faculty, without regard to their geographic location. Distance Learning students and faculty are defined as those persons:

• enrolled in or teaching a course at a location other than the Denver Lowell campus, or
• completing coursework online or through GIS and living more than 10 miles from the Lowell campus.

Don't hesitate to contact us no matter how simple or complex your question. Regis Library is committed to supporting our distance learners no matter where they are!

Resources that have been purchased by the library usually require users from off-campus to identify themselves. Your Regis login information serves as your username (example: stude354) and password for access to library resources. Once you have logged on, you can move from one resource to the next without having to log on again. When you're finished, simply close your browser to log off the system. Access to the overwhelming majority of the library's online journals, database, and digital collections is tied to your Regis login. Only a select few journals and databases require a unique username and password supplied by the library. This is indicated in the database annotation on the A-Z database list or the Lumen catalog record.

We are able to deliver many library resources to you online. Be sure to familiarize yourself with the Subject and Course Research Guides.

Although Regis Library provides many valuable online resources, all the research materials you need are not necessarily online. Once you have identified the book or article you need, you have the following options for obtaining materials:

• Determine if the item is available at a local library. Keep in mind that public libraries may not have the kinds of resources needed to support college-level research.
• Order your items directly from Regis Library using Interlibrary Loan (ILL). To create your Interlibrary Loan profile, use your Regis username and password. This service can be used for both Regis-owned items and items in other libraries' collections. 
  • Articles and book chapters will be delivered electronically via the online interlibrary loan system. Typically you will receive notification when the item is ready via telephone or email within 3-5 business days.
  • Physical materials (books, media, etc.) will be mailed to your home or work address.  Delivery may take up to 10 business days. To have items mailed to you, please select "Mail to Address" for both your delivery method and delivery location in the ILL User Registration form.     
• If you are able to pick up materials at one of the Regis Colorado campus locations, you can request books through Prospector, a unified catalog for the major academic and public libraries in Colorado. If you do not live in the state of Colorado and are unable to physically pick up items from a Regis campus, please use Interlibrary Loan to request materials.
