Victorian Fright Night: Home

Registration and information for Victorian Fright Night

Victorian Fright Night 2022

Cost: Free!

Date: Tuesday, October 25th

Time: 7:00pm - 9:00pm

Location: Dayton Memorial Library (Regis University Library)

Address: 3300 Regis Blvd., Denver, CO 80221

Travel back in time with Regis Library to the Victorian Era for an evening of live literary entertainment.

Join our staff and faculty in the library “parlor” by the fire for dramatic readings of dark, vintage short stories; spooky poetry; and more.

Selections are still being made, but you can expect to hear works from authors such as Edgar Allan Poe, Mary Shelley, and Ambrose Bierce and lesser-known artists--plus some folk tales, legends, magic tricks, or (possibly) music.  We may even use HG Wells' time machine to bring back some readings from the future.

This event is free and open to the public.

Your RSVP (registration) is kindly requested--but drop-in guests are welcome as space allows!
