Texas After Violence ProjectThe Texas After Violence Project (TAVP) formed with the mission "to create a foundation for productive public dialogue on violence in Texas, especially murder and execution" by conducting oral history interviews with people affected by violence, such as friends and family members of murdered and executed people, police officers, first responders, prosecutors, defense attorneys, prison employees, ex-convicts, victim and defendant advocates, and others involved in the Texas criminal justice system.
