Who can use this service?

Chat is available to students, faculty, and staff currently affiliated with Regis University. This service is a collaboration among Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU) institutions, including Regis. Your question will be answered by Regis librarians or other academic librarians in the AJCU consortium.

What types of questions does this service answer?

The Research Help chat services is primarily focused on answering any research, information seeking, or library related question. Questions outside of this scope may be referred to other departments. We recommend scheduling a research consultation for more complex information needs or research questions.

Are you a bot?

No, we are real humans and librarians from Regis University, the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities, and contracted information professional staffing this service. All staff do their best to answer questions as thoroughly and precisely as possible. Due to the nature of some questions, you may be referred back to a librarian or staff at your home institution.

Chat service hours and closures

The service is available 24/7 with the exception of most federal holidays during which the service is closed. Holiday closures include:

  • Christmas Day
  • New Year's Day
