Board Games for Check-out

Time: Open hours (4-hour window)

Location: Dayton Memorial Library Circulation Desk

Description:  Borrow a game to play in the library!  Available all month.  See the list of titles.

 


Tuesday, November 7th

Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator Game

Time: 11am-5pm

Location: Dayton Memorial Library 202 (Tracy Learning Center)

Description: Ever wanted to command the Enterprise, from Star Trek?  This is as close as it gets.  Bring a few friends to play Artemis SBS, a fully cooperative spaceship bridge simulator which puts you in charge of the ship's bridge.  

Drop-in and free; no registration required.  (Capacity of 6 players at a time; estimated time of 30-45 minutes per game.)  Courtesy the Denver Museum of Miniatures, Dolls and Toys

Game Design: Art and History

Time: 9:30 am-10:45am

Location: Peter Claver Hall 328 (not at library)

Description:  Join professors Sean Brown and Becky Black from Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design for a discussion of game design from both an artistic and historical perspective.

Materials from the collection of the Denver Museum of Miniatures, Dolls and Toys will also be on display.

Library Game Night

Time: 5-9pm

Location: Dayton Memorial Library Room 112 and Main Floor

Description:  Drop in for games at the library!  Try a new board game from the library's collection, or bring one of your own.  We will also have a vintage NES system available, loaned by the Denver Museum of Miniatures, Dolls and Toys.  All community members welcome.
