Library, Learning Commons, and Student Disability/Testing Services Information - COVID-19

This guide serves as a resource to update Regis University on operations and services.

UPDATE

PROSPECTOR UPDATE 8/13/20: Prospector borrowing and lending has resumed in a modified capacity as member libraries have more staff on site or are reopening. The list of libraries that have resumed Prospector is being updated weekly. Questions? Contact interlib@regis.edu

UPDATE 6/3/20: Prospector borrowing and lending of materials is still turned off between libraries because so many member libraries are currently closed or in preliminary stages of having staff on site. We will continue to update as we have more information.

UPDATE 3/31/20: You can continue to use the interlibrary loan system to request electronic materials (journal articles, etc.).

UPDATE 3/26/20: Our ability to borrow electronic materials may take longer than usual due to the large number of libraries across the United States that have service interruptions.

UPDATE: 3/19/20: Our ability to borrow materials is being hindered due to the large number of libraries across the United States that have closed. The borrowing and lending of physical materials from other libraries through interlibrary loan is currently suspended due to the coronavirus. Patrons are still able to place interlibrary loan requests for electronic materials (such as journal articles).

UPDATE 3/17/20: Prospector borrowing and lending is shutting down today as the vast majority of libraries participating in the service are closed and not available for interlibrary loan. The Prospector catalog is still searchable and many Regis library electronic resources can be accessed through it.

UPDATE 3/16/20: Due to the increasing number of library closures in our resource sharing networks, we are seeing delays in the receipt and delivery of materials from other libraries.

Requesting Materials

Prospector and Interlibrary Loan Requests:

Our ability to borrow materials is still impacted by the large number of libraries across the United States that have closed or are in varying stages of reopening due to the pandemic.
