Reserves Update - Fall 2020

Electronic reserves (e-reserves)

The e-reserves system is restored. Please use this form to establish updated e-reserves for your course. We are not able to copy over all previous course information.

For more information, please contact reserves@regis.edu.

In-house (physical) print reserves

Due to safety concerns related to the coronavirus, the library is minimizing print materials on reserve which will also ease any future sudden shifts to fully remote learning. Library staff are contacting faculty who have print materials on reserve to discuss options for this fall.

If you had print materials on reserve in previous terms, please consider alternatives this year:

  • Make course materials available via electronic reserve. The library assesses fair use to determine how much of a given work can be placed on e-reserve. One article or chapter from a larger work generally is considered a fair use; a greater percentage of the work will be evaluated on a case by case basis.
  • Direct students to licensed materials available through library databases.
  • Contact your subject liaison to find other sources that are freely available online.
  • Contact your subject liaison to determine if ebook access is available or can be acquired.

For more information, please contact reserves@regis.edu.
