What is the Jesuit Library Passport Program?
The faculty of Jesuit colleges and universities have reciprocal borrowing privileges at all 28 Jesuit member institutions in the United States. The Dayton Memorial Library is a program participant. The program is sponsored by the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU) library directors.
How do I participate?
If you anticipate traveling to and using other Jesuit libraries, please fill out the linked form. You will need one form per library. Each institution you visit will issue an AJCU Passport Program library card with a barcode specific to that institution's library. Present the form and your Regis faculty photo ID at the Circulation Desk the first time you visit the other institution's library.
What borrowing policies are in effect?
Each lending library sets its own lending policies. Consequently, you may wish to verify which materials may be checked out, lending periods, fine structures, etc. at each library you visit. Most policies are also available via the lending library's web site. Your signature on the reciprocal library borrower form indicates your intent to abide by the policies of the lending library.
How do I return borrowed materials?
Materials checked out from another Jesuit institution may be returned via Interlibrary Loan at the Dayton Memorial Library. Please indicate clearly that they are Passport Program materials. Note that faculty are responsible for materials checked out until they are received by the lending library. Items may be subject to overdue fines if they are received by the lending library after the due date.
