The American Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (ASBMT) is an international professional association that promotes the advancement of the blood and marrow transplantation field. ASBMT publishes evidence-based reviews for the use of stem cell transplantation in patients with cancer.

The American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) is a non-profit organization founded in 1964 with the overarching goals of improving cancer care and prevention. ASCO publishes evidence-based guidelines for the treatment and supportive care of patients with cancer.

The National Cancer Institute (NCI) is the Federal Government's principal agency for cancer research and training and is part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The NCI coordinates the National Cancer Program, which conducts and supports research, training, health information dissemination, and other programs with respect to the cause, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of cancer, rehabilitation from cancer, and the continuing care of cancer patients and the families of cancer patients.

The National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing information about cancer to both the general public and health professionals. The NCCN publishes annual consensus-based guidelines for the treatment and supportive care of patients with cancer.
