How to do Library Research

This guide was co-created by the Research & Instruction Department and the Research & Instruction Librarian Intern, Allyson Turner.

How to login off-campus

When you utilize library resources off-campus, in most instances you will be required to login with your Regis credentials before accessing the subscription resource.

The exception to this rule is LumenPlus, which is open to the public. A banner will appear at the top of the search results page that says "Hello, Guest. Login with your Regis credentials for full access." Click on this text within the banner and login with your Regis username and password. Once you are logged in, the banner will disappear and you will be able to access the online full-text documents that are available within our library system

Login with your Regis credentials for full access.

How to use Prospector

What is Prospector?

Prospector is a regional borrowing and lending group and includes major academic and public libraries in Colorado as well as the University of Wyoming. Prospector is best for borrowing common books and media. Prospector is a great choice for browsing (leisure reading) books the library does not have.

How to use Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

What is Interlibrary Loan (ILL)?

Interlibrary Loan allows library users to borrow materials from other libraries around the world if they are not available at the Regis University Library. Interlibrary Loan is best for borrowing articles, scanned chapters, and books not available through Prospector.
